Lifetime warranties!
Our warranties explained - In plain English.
We have a lot of people asking us questions about our warranties so it's a good idea we clear some misguided information about them. If you didn't read it from this page it's not true.
We do not cover any additional fitment costs, certification costs, extra parts required to make the item fit or work or any loss of time/wages/business occurred. The product provided even if it is stated as a “direct fit” does not imply no additional parts maybe required.
IN SUMMARY: If your lifetime warranty product breaks anytime we'll replace it (or refund it)
Most of the time its the customers (installers) fault. Hold on.....what??
A case study: A customer named Peter came to us and bought an SCR320 turbo for his daily Nissan Safari TD42. Peter brought only the turbo from us and not our turbo line kit and dropped it off at his trusty mechanic. His mechanic assured him "I've installed 100s of turbo's, I know exactly what I'm doing". Well, the mechanic didn't. And shortly after the turbo seized and Peter came back to us for a warranty. After investigating it turned out the mechanic installed the oil line to the alternator (not the best place for it), pointed the line kit up (restricting easy oil flow) and used an oil line about the size of a baby's straw! Totally oil deprived the turbo seized. www.targetspecies.co.nz To be clear: Turbo's need a ton of oil! So Peter obviously was pissed at his mechanic and bought a new turbo off us (discounted of course), our turbo line kit and installed it properly into the sump. 100,000km later running high boost no issues what so ever. He was so impressed he got three of his mates to buy the same setup and ended spending another 4k with us.
Verdict - We always test our limited warranties out. Most of the time any issue is from dodgy work. But anything genuine we always back the customer up.
