Convert your BMW E46 (323, 325i, non-M cars) to the E36 style front suspension with this pair of forged/CNC machined super angle knuckles to improve steering angle, steering feel and adjustability.
Converting the E46 to E36 style front suspension has been popular in drifting for a while. But we found that there are geometry issues when simply throwing E36 knuckles onto your E46, due to the difference in rack position and chassis pickup points.
So we made these custom knuckles specifically for use on the E46 chassis. This gives you the benefits of the E36 conversion while also maintaining proper steering ratio, proper ackerman, and allows you to reuse your E46 hubs and brakes, reducing overall project cost.
These knuckles start out as a strong forged steel blank and are then CNC machined for excellent fit and finish and perfect symmetry. These knuckles are a part of our full angle kit (FLCA, extended tie rods, top camber plates, sold separately) allowing 63 degrees of usable steering angle and optimized geometry.
But these knuckles are also available separately for use with OEM or modified OEM arms for a moderate increase in angle.
These knuckles quicken the steering ratio to allow more steering angle, and ackerman is adjustable with the included flippable stainless lockouts. Included angle/KPI are altered to improve steering feel at high angle without having to stack spacers between the coilover bracket and knuckle.
** Compatible with E46 non-M hubs and brakes. Requires our outer tie rods with M14 bolts to connect to ackerman adjuster lockouts.
Requires use of longer E36 front shocks and coilover lower mounts, which are available from us or usually can be requested from your specific coilover manufacturer.
